Sandeep Parmar is a poet and critic. Her books include The Marble Orchard and Eidolon (Shearsman). She is Senior Lecturer in English at the University of Liverpool where she co-directs the Centre for New and International Writing.

Parveen Parmar is an emergency physician and global health researcher whose research focuses on  gender based violence, human rights, and access to health care among conflict/crisis affected populations. She is Director of International Emergency Medicine at the University of Southern California and faculty at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.
