Ollie Evans is a writer and performer from London. 

 

 

These short films are sketches towards a longer as yet untitled project (working title, Portraits of the Middleincome); juxtaposing a free translation of Henri Michaux's Portrait des Meidosems (1949) with various historical and literary texts upon images of the City of London with the intention of crafting a transhistorical poetic-cinematic survey of the city's cuts, dismemberments, borders, plagues and gentrifications.
