David Spittle has published reviews in Hix Eros and PN Review. His poetry has been published in 3am, Zone, Shadowtrain, and has been translated into French courtesy of Black Herald Press. In addition to poetry, he has written the libretti to three operas, performed at various venues around Cardiff, London and Manchester. In 2014 David was commissioned to write a song cycle for the Bergen National Opera. In 2015 his poetry was shortlisted for the Melita Hume Poetry Prize, and in 2016 included in the Eyewear Best New British and Irish Poetry Anthology.
